Beginners can enjoy approximately 30% of the runs, while expert skiers can choose between 35% of the slopes. If you are a snowboarder, Bansko has something to offer you too. The ski resort is home to the first extreme snowboarder park on the Balkans. You will be able to build your own jumps as per your own preferences and skills.
Bansko’s ski season is relatively long thanks to the snow machines that ensure fresh snow between mid-December to mid-April. The ski zone has been massively developed in the last few years with significant investments and it now has modern Gondola, chair lifts, etc. If you enjoy long days of skiing - Bansko also has something for you. Visitors can benefit from the night skiing in Bansko between 18:30 until 21:30.
After long snowy days, you can head to Bansko’s city centre to immerse yourself into the Bulgarain history and culture. In the historic part of the town, you can find numerous restaurants, bars, craft shops, etc. Make sure to try the traditional Bulgarian cuisine with a glass of wine in one of the ‘mehanas’ (Bulgarian traditional restaurant).
