Rila Monastery
≈ 2 hBulgaria’s largest monastery and a UNESCO site. The painted main church and the 14th-century Hrelyo Tower take about two hours to see properly.
Boyana Church
≈ 25 minA small medieval church at the foot of Vitosha with frescoes from 1259. Visitors go in small groups for about ten minutes.
Stob Pyramids
