Full dayThere is enough around Varna for several different days. The Aladzha rock monastery and Pobiti Kamani are 25 minutes away each, the palace and botanical garden in Balchik about an hour, and Cape Kaliakra a little further along the same road. For the First Bulgarian Kingdom, the Madara Rider and Shumen are about an hour inland.

Prices are a guide, per person. Open a tour to see the itinerary stop by stop.
