Half daySunny Beach is a good starting point if you want a break from the beach. Old Nessebar is ten minutes away, though it is worth going early, before the groups arrive. In a day you can reach Sozopol and Ropotamo to the south, Zheravna in the eastern Balkan mountains, or Balchik and Kaliakra to the north.
