Ski transfers for winter 2026/27 from Plovdiv and Plovdiv Airport to Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo: Unitrans price list, no prepayment. Book now at a fixed price.
Unitrans is based in Plovdiv, and every winter we drive skiers from here into the mountains: families on a week in Pamporovo, friends heading to Bansko for the weekend, and visitors who land at Plovdiv Airport or arrive by train and want to reach the hotel without changing buses. The ski season in Bulgaria usually opens in mid-December and runs into April. The busiest days are around Christmas, New Year and the February school holidays, and that is when minivans and minibuses go first.
So the advice is simple: once your dates are set, book the transfer. Booking now costs nothing, you pay the driver on the day, and the price stays the one you were quoted. Below are the prices from Plovdiv to the three big resorts, the driving times, the winter roads we use and what to tell us when you book. Bookings are taken in English by phone, or in the chat in your language.
Prices come from the Unitrans price list and are per vehicle, not per person. They are the same from Plovdiv Airport. A night ride costs the same as a day ride.
* No prepayment: you pay the driver. The price we quote when you book does not change with traffic.

The way back is ready too: Pamporovo – Plovdiv Airport, Borovets – Plovdiv Airport, Bansko – Plovdiv Airport.
Pamporovo is the closest resort to Plovdiv. The road follows the Chaya river gorge with plenty of bends and climbs after Chepelare. In snow the driver takes it slowly, so allow a little extra time.
Borovets sits below Musala, the highest peak in the Balkans. From Plovdiv we take the motorway to Kostenets and climb through Dolna Banya. If you stay a week, a day trip to Rila Monastery fits in well.
Bansko is the furthest and the biggest ski town. From Plovdiv the road runs through Velingrad and Yundola to Razlog, a few minutes before Bansko. Staying in Razlog? See our page on the taxi to Razlog.
Driving times are without stops and in normal road conditions.
Unitrans has separate route pages for Sofia Airport: Sofia Airport – Bansko, Sofia Airport – Borovets and Pamporovo – Sofia Airport.
