How much is a transfer from Varna Airport to Golden Sands?

How long is the drive?

Varna Airport is on the west side of the city. From the terminal the car heads towards the coast and then north on the seaside road, past St. Constantine and Helena, to Golden Sands. For Golden Sands the price list gives about 20 km and 35 min; for Albena about 35 km and 40 min. The maps on this page show the route from the airport itself. In July and August the road into the resorts is busier in the afternoon.

Where does the driver meet me?

The driver waits for you at the exit of the arrivals hall. Before you fly, you receive the driver’s phone number, so you can call or send a message as soon as you have your luggage. If you are travelling with a group or a family, tell us where to stop: one hotel, or two hotels in different resorts. A second address on the way is fine; tell us when you book.

What happens if my flight is late?

Give us your flight number when you book. We follow the flight, and if it lands late the driver waits at the airport at no extra cost and with no time limit. The price stays the same. At a hotel or home address the free waiting time is 15 minutes.

Which vehicle do I need?

• Car, up to 4 people (40 € to Golden Sands): a couple or a small family with normal suitcases.
• Minivan, up to 6 (55 €): five or six people, or four people with a lot of luggage, a pushchair or golf bags.
• Minibus, up to 8 (65 €): two families together, or a group of friends.
• Over 8 people: price on request. Our fleet has around 200 sedans, 50 minivans, 100 minibuses and 20 S- and E-class cars.

Infant carrier, booster and child seat are free of charge. Just say how many you need.
